Manastirea de Rohrbach Riesling CRU Vin Alb Sec 2021 di Gitana Winery, prodotto da uve di Riesling de Rorbach Cru

Un Riesling di un autunno ardivo.
Cru Riesling Rorbach nasce da uve raccolte tardivamente a fine novembre sulla collina con la migliore esposizione solare in uno spazio con una storia impressionante. Ancora nel 1887-1940, qui si trovava un villaggio tedesco con il nome Rorbah, dove c'era un monastero di monaci che praticavano l'arte del vino. A tal fine, hanno scelto collina con la migliore esposizione solare e vigneti piantati, cloni autentici portati dalla Germania, che produceva il miglior Riesling in terra moldava, secondo le tradizioni secolari tedeschi.

Dopo la seconda guerra mondiale, tutti gli abitanti dell'insediamento sono stati rimpatriati. Dal 1953, il paese è chiamato Romanovca, monastero sulla collina è stata rovinata a causa delle numerose frane, ma come prova dell'esistenza del villaggio Rorbah, troviamo una lapide comemorativa in marmo.

Gitana Winery ha recuperato questa antica vigna, piantata dai monaci di Rorbach, e nel 2011 ha nuovamente reimpiantato. Da questa meravigliosa uva della vite di Rorbach è stato ottenuto Rorbach CRU vino Riesling, un vino da condividere.

Riesling de Rohrbach Cru is made from late harvested grapes in November, on the hill with the best sun exposure in a place with an impressive history. Time ago, from 1887 to 1940, here was a German village named Rohrbach, where the German monks were practicing the art of wine. For this purpose, they chose the hill with the best sun exposure and planted the vine, brought from Germany. These genuine clones produced the best Riesling on the Moldovan land, according to German secular traditions. During the Second World War, all the inhabitants of the village were repatriated. Since 1953, the village is called Romanovca but as evidence of Rohrbach village, we find a marble plaque. Gitana Winery recovered this antique vine, planted by the monks in Rohrbach, and in 2001, the vineyard was replanted.
With the grapes of these great vines, Riesling Rohrbach CRU wine was obtained. Even if the grapes were  harvested in late November, the wine is dry, with no residual sugar. A unique wine, hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeast and aged on its fine lees for 6 months in large oak barrels to enhance the typical freshness and fragrance of these grapes.

Full yellow in colour; a delicate aromatic bouquet reminiscent of rose-petal with hints of honey and saffron and a whiff of tropical fruits; full-bodied, luscious but dry on the palate with a persistent structure.
